Argus is an automotive cyber security pioneer, helping car manufacturers, their Tier 1 suppliers and aftermarket connectivity providers protect connected cars and commercial vehicles from car-hacking. Founded in 2013 by cyber security experts, Argus solutions combine innovative security methods and proven computer networking know-how with deep understanding of automotive best practices. Argus R&D is based in Tel-Aviv, Israel, with offices in Michigan, the Silicon Valley, Stuttgart and Tokyo.
Penetration Testing
Our experienced automotive hackers work in black, grey and white box modes to identify if and how attackers can breach vehicle components, infotainment center and telematics units, manipulate them and steal data.
Risk Management
Argus provides comprehensive risk assessments of vehicle architecture, providing customers with a prioritized list of risks complete with their potential impact and recommended strategies for prevention. Our assessment is performed in accordance with ISO 27005, NIST SP 800-30 or other customer specific standards.
Security Automation
Our experienced emergency response team (ERT) provides real time support to OEMs and fleet managers for cyber security events that require immediate attention. Argus ERT performs event analysis, recreates the attack scenario and begins the remediation processes. Strengthening the client’s ability to respond on technical and managerial levels, Argus ERT can greatly minimize damage to reputation and potentially eliminate the need for costly recalls.
Threat Intelligence
Argus helps customers take a proactive security posture by actively searching for cyber intelligence related to car hacking. Working on the open web and areas of the web inaccessible to standard search engines, known as the deep and dark web, this service delivers intelligence that may otherwise go unnoticed. Intelligence gathered is analyzed using advanced algorithms and machine learning to expose automotive cyber threats or attacks in progress, carried out under the radar. Customers receive actionable alerts to enable immediate prevention and remediation. In addition, intelligence can be streamed to the SOC for more advanced analysis.
Vulnerability Management
Our research team identifies potential vulnerabilities in vehicle architecture and provides actionable steps to reduce the risk.
